Objective & Scope
As the final phase of our agile transformation, it is necessary to fuse the legacy roles of Journey Owner and Technical Product Manager into the unified role of Digital Product Manager. As each has complimentary skills to one another, and represents two sides of the same coin, existing knowledge gaps must be closed, enabling them to deliver results and grow their skillset to parity with digital industry standards in our updated operating model.
Discovery
Having researched the profiles of Digital Product managers from industry leaders including Google, Apple, Meta and others, including leading fintech organizations, we have crafted DPM Profile that is definitively representative of a cutting edge digital organization. Our assessment includes skills that we have allocated into four categories:

A phased, data-informed implementation plan providing formal training designed, developed, and facilitated by SMEs and cognitive learning professionals will deliver theoretical upskilling enforced by practical application to provide the education, exposure and experience required for our organization to reach agile maturity. All training modules will be captured and included a learning pathway in Degreed, our newly acquired social learning platform.
